After a four-year closure, Disney World has shared a 1900 Park Fare reopening date! More details are still to come for the reopening of this beloved restaurant at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
When Disney World reopened in summer 2020 after a months-long closure, it did so with quite a few restaurants and dining options unavailable. While many of those have reopened over the past few years, we have still been waiting for a handful more. Among those is 1900 Park Fare, a character dining restaurant at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. But now, Disney has revealed a reopening date!
1900 Park Fare Reopening Date
1900 Park Fare will reopen on April 10, 2024, with reservations available beginning March 5. When it returns, you can enjoy both character breakfast and dinner in a refreshed dining experience. You’ll be joined by Aladdin, Cinderella, Mirabel, and Tiana in her new look from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! The restaurant will feature a buffet that includes returning favorites (like strawberry soup) alongside new menu offerings.
The refurbished restaurant will feature Big Bertha, an antique organ that has been at Disney’s Grand Floridian since 1988. She’ll serve as the centerpiece in the main dining room. The restaurant will still feature carousel theming, with a new mural at the entrance alongside drawings of carousel animals inspired by classic Disney films. In fact, you’ll find twelve new portraits created exclusively for the restaurant by Disney artists. Each is inspired by the impressionist art style of the late 19th and early 20th centuries and features a different Disney character as they hope or wish upon a star.
This will be just the latest Grand Floridian restaurant to go through a reimagining in recent years. Over the past few years, we’ve seen Citricos and Narcoossee reopen with new looks and menus. Additionally, the rooms at the Grand Floridian have been redone with inspiration from Mary Poppins. And Disney has shared that the lobby will soon get a new look as well!
We’ll be sure to share more details in March once we know more about the restaurant’s reopening!
