Meet the Team

WDW Magazine really has an incredible team that comes together each month to put our magazine together. These are some of the biggest WDW lovers in the world and really good people. We are incredibly proud to be associated with all these great people.

Hi. My name is Carl Trent. I love Walt Disney World. I love it so much, I quit my job as an Air Traffic Controller to spend all my time thinking about, talking about and writing about the Most Magical Place on Earth. In 2008 I started a website called Dad’s Guide to WDW. In 2013 I founded WDW Magazine. I publish yearly Walt Disney World calendars, created The Best of WDW – Volume 1, and started the WDW Discount Club. I’m living the dream…

I’m a life-long Disney devotee, living in Hamilton, Canada and dreaming of WDW every day. For me, Disney is more than a vacation destination – it’s my home away from home, a place to create treasured memories, and a lifestyle. As the Director of Operations for WDW Magazine, Dad’s Guide to WDW,  WDW Discount Club, and The Best of WDW, I have the best job in the world – sharing Disney love, all day every day! I’m also a co-founder at It’s A FanGirl World!

Tatjana is a Disney fan whose favorite pastime is planning Walt Disney World vacations. She loves nothing more than sharing her love for the Disney parks with others, and when she isn’t dreaming of an upcoming trip, she can be found trying to convince all her friends and family to join her on a WDW vacation.

A graphic designer with a love for Disney photography and my family, who started my out of control Disney obsession.

Living in Georgia gives Matthew the opportunity to visit Walt Disney often and indulge two loves, Disney and Photography.

I’m a special events lighting designer who loves to be at Walt Disney World whenever I can.

Rich Ramos is a life-long Disney fan and photography enthusiast from the Greater Toronto Area. He recently became a WDW Annual Passholder in 2016 and also plans to visit the other Disney parks from around the world in the near future, with Tokyo Disneyland and the original Disneyland on his radar for 2017.

If you ever bump into Rich around the parks, you won’t find his camera too far from his hands. While he loves capturing those classic iconic views, he’s always on the lookout for that unique capture using creative compositions and perspectives, even if it means doing a yoga pose or putting his camera over water to get the shot he’s after. His absolute favourite time of day to shoot is at sunset to grab those golden tones mixed with epic pink Floridian clouds you can’t seem to find anywhere else.
You can find more of his Disney vacation photos on his Instagram:

Hi….I’m Laurie! I live in Tallahassee, Florida and enjoy sharing my Disney photography with fellow Disney fans!” Here is the link to my FB page:

I am a Disney fanatic who just so happens to love photography, a match made in heaven.

Kim, a Walt Disney World College Program Alumni (Spring ’97),  has been collecting Disney Pins long before it was “cool”. In addition to working on creating “the next great novel”, Kim has written curriculum for her school district. When not planning her next Disney vacation, Kim hangs with her two awesome kids who also love everything Disney. In her spare time, she teaches middle school and dreams of becoming an Imagineer.

Karyn Locke, is a travel writer from Ohio that has a passion for all things Disney and a hankering for Dole Whip Floats at least three times a week. Also creator and blogger for Sand and Snow…and Everywhere in Between!, she’s happy to give Disney tips to anyone that asks and is pleased as punch that her family shares her love of the most magical place on earth.

Walt Disney World 101

Kathleen Logan Wolfe is an Art Director and Social Media Manager by day and entrepreneur morning, noon and night. Her passion for Disney began at the age of 6 and the fire still burns bright! She is the author of the Get Down to Disness® Daily Agenda Book, which is the product of planning 20+ (and counting) WDW and Disneyland over the years.

Dave Shute by day is a business strategist and on nights and weekends writes, which Lee Cockerell, former Executive Vice President of Disney World’s Parks and Resorts, calls “astonishingly helpful”.

The Best of WDW

Brian married a Disney-loving princess and quickly became an addict himself.  When it comes to Disney vacation planning he is borderline obsessive and loves the intricate details of crafting the perfect experience.  When not living in a fairy-tale world, Brian resides with his family near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He also thinks Willie the Whale is a vastly underrated opera singer and is still hoping for a comeback.

Jessi Kimble works for Destinations To Travel LLC as a Disney Destinations Travel Agent and as an Executive Assistant for the Gun Lake Tribe of Pottawatomi Indians. She resides in Plainwell, Michigan with her teenage son Gavin and rescue kitty, Monkey. Her favorite Walt Disney World attraction is the Haunted Mansion and she once rode Buzz Light Year’s Space Ranger Spin 13 times in a row.

Danny Shuster is a graphic and web designer living in Hamilton, Ontario.  Technology, travel & food are his passions, and he loves exploring them alongside his wife in the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy at WDW.

WDW Family

James and Lisa Cameron are married and parents of two young children.  They are the co-authors of the website “Adventures in Familyhood,” where they share their Disney experiences and ways to incorporate Disney magic into their daily lives.  Lisa is an Elementary Reading Teacher with a passion for cooking and party planning.  James is a stay-at-home dad, Freelance Television Director, and amateur photographer.

Melissa lives with her husband and four boys on Florida’s beautiful Space Coast. When they’re not riding attractions at Walt Disney World, you can find them riding waves at the beach. Their family now also enjoys a piece of Disney paradise at home, thanks to the hit HGTV show “My Yard Goes Disney.”

I’m a graphic designer living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, but I am always wishing I was in Disney! I love traveling, and my top item on my bucket list is to visit every Disney park in the world – I’m two down, Orlando and Paris, so I have a lot to look forward to. I started working for Dad’s Guide and WDW Magazine as an intern while I was in school and picked back up after I graduated!

Around the World

I’m from Long Island, New York and always in need of a Disney fix! Luckily, as the Social Media Director of Get Down to Disness, I get to see amazing Disney photos and interact with fellow Disney fans throughout each and every day. My favorite Disney World attraction is The Haunted Mansion, and my favorite hotel is Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!

Terri Miller is creator, owner and a writer for WDW Hints. Terri enjoys all things Disney, especially researching tips, tricks and little known things about the Disney parks (and then sharing them with you!)
